Welcome to Chelwood Foodbank Plus

We are an independent foodbank, serving the population of Stockport.  We now have 4 locations operating around Stockport.  We are not affiliated with any of the national foodbanks as we have found that our users require more than just food, hence the "Plus" in our name.  We also provide users with kitchen equipment, bedding and other household items.  We rely solely on donations generously given by local people.

Too busy to shop and delivery, It's easy to donate a small amount (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 only) by texting CHEL01 and the amount to 70070. For example to donate £10 simply text ‘CHEL01 £10′ to 70070.  For details on how to set up regular donations please see our donate page.

WE ARE  LOW ON  ...

• UHT MILK (1L & 500ml)
• TINNED MEAT (s),
• PACKET RICE,
• TINNED FRUIT, Tinned custard, Tinned rice pudding,
• Squash, pasteurised fruit juice,
• coffee, tea
• STRONG plastic bags with reinforced handles or reusable bags are always welcome
• Toiletries such as toilet roll, shampoo, body wash & ladies sanitary items are always needed.
• Nappies size 4 & 5

Curently we urgently need

• Tea,
• Tinned Soups
• Pasta Sauces/Curry Sauces
• Tinned vegetables - main traditional staples such as peas, carrots, sweetcorn.
• Please do NOT donate baby food at present.
• Please stick to the items on the shopping list because space is limited!
