We are totally reliant on the support of our community.
We are a volunteer-based organisation. The majority of money donated to us goes directly into expanding our operations and helping us to distribute more food to local people. We do not receive any money from the UK Government to support our operations.
Chelwood Foodbank Plus is not part of a large chain of food banks which allows us to deliver our service in a truly holistic manner. We can help those that need us most without the confines of red tape and unrealistic administrative policies.
Unfortunately, this also means that we do not receive food from supermarket chains that have signed agreements with large national charities. We are totally reliant on donations and grants from individuals and organisations.

To make donations via JustGiving or Give as you live online please click on the button below. You can also use this JustGiving page to set up sponsored events such as a sponsored run, swim, or abseil to raise money for Chelwood Foodbank Plus, and your friends, family, and colleagues can pay their sponsorship via that method.
Standing orders and one-off bank transfers
Many regular donors pay us via a standing order, which is easy to set up with your bank, and has the added advantage to us that we pay no fees on the transaction. For one-off donations, a simple bank transfer is preferred.
